Pullen Park, Raleigh’s oldest amusement park, is scheduled to open in six months.
Pullen Park has been closed since December of 2009 to make improvements to the carousel house, welcome center, concessions building, and train station. Visitors should also notice improvements to the new entrance, event spaces, playground, underground utilities and picnic shelters.
Funding for the $6.3 million project was approved as part of the 2003 Parks and Recreation Bond Referendum.
