Vinos Finos is a north Raleigh wine bar that opened in North Raleigh’s Lafayette Village Shopping Center in December 2010. Vinos offers an extensive selection of South American wines, as well as meat and cheese platters, empanadas, and desserts.
Vinos turned out to be a good place to have a drink on a Thursday night, a calm place to unwind before the final workday of the week.
I tried a cabernet and a blend. Both were excellent. The menu is primarily picadas, Argentine small plates. I tried the cheese platter, which came with dates, figs and crusty bread and was absolutely fantastic.
The service was helpful and friendly but unobtrusive. The atmosphere was exactly as promised. South American influenced decor with bottles of wine displayed throughout, Vinos is a comfortable place to spend a relaxing afternoon or evening with a few friends and excellent wine and small plates.
