N.C. Wildlife Federation Recognizes Raleigh’s Water Quality Efforts

In recognition of Raleigh’s efforts to protect water quality in the Falls Lake watershed, the North Carolina Wildlife Federation (NCWF) has presented the City its “Municipal Conservationist of the Year” Award. Mayor Pro Tem Nancy McFarlane accepted the award on behalf of the City during NCWF’s annual meeting and banquet on Aug. 27 at the Hilton Raleigh-Durham Airport Hotel in Research Triangle Park.
