The R-LINE bus will be running on July 4 to take people to the downtown fireworks displays.
The R-LINE will be operating from noon to midnight on Independence Day. Attendees can park their cars around Downtown and Glenwood South and catch the R-LINE at one of its designated stops. Some changes have been made in R-LINE’s route on July 4 because of detours related to “The ‘Works.” The changes are:
- From noon to 9 p.m. the R-LINE will serve all of its stops, including those in the Warehouse District, but will not serve the R12-Amtrak stop; and,
- From 9 p.m. to midnight, the R-LINE will not provide service to areas south of Morgan Street. Riders who want to go to Fayetteville Street for “The ‘Works” after 9 p.m. should get off the bus at the R20-New Bern Place stop.
The R-Line is Downtown Raleigh’s FREE bus service to connect employees, residents and visitors to retail, restaurants, entertainment venues and parking in the Central Business District (CBD).
R-Line Hours of Operation
