Federal Court of Appeals Strikes Down NC Voting Law
The Federal Court of Appeals for the Fourth Circuit struck down the voting law, in an 83 pages opinion, ruling that portions of the law were “enacted with racially discriminatory intent in violation of the Equal Protection Clause of the Fourteenth Amendment and § 2 of the Voting Rights Act.”
