Lilly’s serves some of the best pizza in Raleigh. Topping range from barbecued chicken to tofu; provolone to veganrella (non-dairy cheese). Lilly’s “standard” pies, Corporate Greed, the Buddha, and the Five Point are favorites. The spinach salad with Portobello mushrooms is also fantastic.
Lilly’s was founded by three musicians and proudly maintains a casual atmosphere and an off beat décor with work from local artists on display. The crowd ranges from college age to post college to families. There are about eight tables available outside, if you are lucky enough to snag one. Who would have thought hanging out on the side of Glenwood at Five Points would be so cool?
