The 1st Annual Clare’s Run For a Reason will be held on Saturday, June 25th, 2011 at the cross country course at Wake Med Soccer Park in Cary, NC. The whole family can enjoy a 5K Run or 1 mile Family Fitness Walk, fun kids’ activities, a silent auction, music and refreshments! Registration begins at 7:30am.
This event in honor of Clare Katherine Whitenack. Clare was a healthy, happy, thriving 19 month old toddler who passed away suddenly and unexpectedly in September 2009. The family was given no reason as to what took their daughter’s life. All proceeds will benefit the Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood (SUDC) Program, a cousin of SIDS that affects children after their first birthday.
The SUDC Program is part of the CJ Foundation for SIDS, a national non-profit organization leading the fight against SIDS and SUDC.
