In From Russia with Love, the second Bond movie, James Bond is on the search for a Russian decoding machine known as Lektor. Bond needs to find the decoder before the SPECTRE organization does. The search leads Bond to Istanbul (where, naturally, he becomes romantically entangled with a beautiful woman, Tatiana Romanova), whilst dodging a number of SPECTRE agents, including ex-KGB agent Rosa Klebb and her henchman Donald Grant.
One of the most popular of the Bond series among fans, From Russia with Love is notable for the improved production values over Dr. No and for the Donald Grant character, who would serve as a prototype henchman in future Bond movies.
