in feburary of 2013, they signed to PovicNation Production Co. A company ran by the collective’s front man ” Rasta B.” The Povic Connection is quickly gaining a reputation for high quality, soul squinting, conscious music.
They have only released two songs as a collective, and average close to 10,00 views on both of them. Set to premiere their next song and video on several college radio stations, the collective is something to watch.
Lead singer Maddeline Paras plays guitar and thrives from an indie, rock background. Her voice soars passionately over the group’s intense drum patterns and cinematic sound. Lady Primo is a violin playing songstress and femcee within the group. Her belief in the message is shown through the intense delivery of her rhymes. Her voice is soulfully inspired but always original. Dante Hill is a highly skilled musician and plays numerous instruments. Along with his knack for instrumentation, he also has a very unique voice. Dante’ provides most of the funk inspired melodies in The Povic Connection. Rasta B. is the front man, lead producer and emcee thriving in the group’s image of rule rebellion. He spits out highly intense flows complimenting the other voices within the music.
