Run Raleigh Half Marathon & 5k

The RunRaleigh Half Marathon & 5K will benefit 3 non-profits: SPCA of Wake County, Raleigh Police Memorial Foundation, and SWOOP.

Sunday April 14, 2013
Half Marathon starts at 7am and 5K starts at 7:30am

Start & Finish Location
The start & finish area are in Cameron Village. The half marathon and 5K will start on Cameron St. at Woodburn Rd. and finish on Woodburn Rd. in front of Capital RunWalk.

Packet Pick-Up
Packet Pick-Up will take place at Capital RunWalk located at 430 Woodburn Rd. Raleigh, NC 27605 on Friday April 12, 2013 from 4pm-7pm and Saturday April 13, 2013 from 12pm-4pm.  There will be race day packet pick-up at Capital RunWalk from 5:30am-7am.

There will not be any race day registration for either race.  Someone else can pick up your race packet for you but they will need a photocopy of your driver’s license or some other form of photo ID.

Medals
All half marathon finishers will receive a custom RunRaleigh Half Marathon finisher’s medal at the finish line.

“Raleigh Triple Crown” Medal
We are proud to announce the “Raleigh Triple Crown” Series.  You must register for all 3 races by April 21st.   Click on the Triple Crown Medal on the Home page for more information.

Timing
We are proud to announce FS Series is the official timing company for the 2013 RunRaleigh Half Marathon & 5K.  FS Series is an event production & timing company based in Raleigh/Cary, NC.  FS Series uses the RFID Ultra Timing system from RFID Timing Systems.  This will be a convenient disposable bib tag.  The FS Series team: Brent Dorenkamp, Jason Biggs, and Marc Primanti.  For more information on FS Series, please visit their website at www.fsseries.com

Volunteers
If you wish to volunteer, please contact Paula O’Neal at runraleighraces@aol.com.  Volunteers will be assisting at the start/finish area, water stations, and as course monitors.

Rules and Regulations
Although the race benefits the SPCA of Wake County, for the safety of the dogs and participants, we do not allow dogs in either race. We also do not allow inline skates, skateboards, roller skates or any mode of transportation other than running or walking.

If the race should be cancelled, delayed or postponed for conditions beyond the control of the Race Director (i.e., weather, National/State/Local emergencies), there are no refunds.  Packet pick up will still be made available at Capital Run/Walk.

The Race Director or Race Committee reserves to right to remove any participant from the race course at our discretion.
