Symphony Kid’s Series: Beethoven Lives Upstairs

A madman has moved in upstairs, and young Christoph and his uncle are on the hunt to find out just what’s going on up there. Delight in this hour-long romp into the work of Ludwig van Beethoven, including excerpts from many of his greatest works. Enjoy live performances of the “Moonlight” Sonata, Für Elise, the Fifth and Ninth Symphonies and more.

Arrive up to an hour early for pre-concert activities provided by Marbles Kids Museum, as well as the Symphony’s popular Instrument Zoo, in which your kids try out the orchestra’s instruments for themselves. Plus, you can take a picture of your child with the newest member of the North Carolina Symphony family, Sympson!

Performances at 1:30 pm and 4:00 pm
