The Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation is holding a Tunnel to Towers 5K Run & Walk at PNC Arena on September 21 in Raleigh. The run is in memory of Stephen Siller, a fallen firefighter who ran from the Brooklyn Battery Tunnel to the Twin Towers on 9/11 to help victims. The event will benefit the Building for America’s Bravest program that builds homes for severely wounded service members.
The run will start at 9 a.m. Registration is now open and only $25 per adult and $20 per child. Special rates are available for firefighters, law enforcement officers, EMS and military personnel.
