The Wakefield High School Future Farmers of America will host its 11th annual spring plant sale. Come and see thousands of student-grown plants, including: heirloom vegetables, herbs, containers, perennials, tropicals, and bedding plants.
The Wakefield High School Plant Sale runs April 11 – 15, 10 am – 6 pm.
Wakefield High School offers thousands of plants that are all student-grown at Wakefield High School. All of the plants are grown with great care and are plants that are tried and tested for the Piedmont of North Carolina.
All of the money raised will benefit the Wakefield High School Agricultural Education program. It takes thousands of dollars to keep the greenhouse running, to provide quality plant materials for the students to learn from, to refill loads of soil, fertilizer, and pesticides, and continuously improve the WHS landscapes which the students have installed.
Your support of the Wakefield High School Plant Sale ensures a sustainable Agricultural Education program that promotes hands on learning in horticultural science.
