Artspace 10th Annual Collectors Gala

The 10th annual Collectors Gala will be held Saturday, November 19, 2011, benefiting Artspace exhibitions, educational programming, and community outreach to children and adults in difficult circumstances. The event features the unique opportunity for guests to dine in artists’ studios and to enjoy purchasing local artwork in both the live and silent auctions, as well as purchasing artwork displayed throughout the building.
 
Schedule for the Evening:
 
6 pm Cocktails & Hors d’Oeuvres
6 – 11 pm Silent Auction
7:30 pm Dinner
9 pm Live Auction
10 pm Desserts & Coffee
 
Auction pieces can be previewed online beginning November 1.
 
Gala Sponsors will be invited to a Sponsor Preview Reception on Friday, November 4 from 5 – 6pm to view the work and meet the artists themselves.
 
From 6 – 10 pm, the galleries will open to the public viewing in conjunction with the November 4th First Friday.
 
The silent auction artwork will be in the Upfront Gallery and live auction pieces will be in Gallery Two. First Friday guests will be invited to participate in the 5th annual “People’s Choice Vote.” All visitors will be able to vote for their favorite live auction piece. The winning artist will receive a special gift package and recognition during the gala.
 
Tickets will be on sale beginning October 7, 2011. Please call 919.821.2787 for reservations. Individual tickets are $150 per person. Table sponsorships (tables of eight) are still available at $5,000, $2,500, and $1,500 levels. Black tie optional.
