Bloomsbury in Concert

Bloomsbury, Raleigh’s oldest string band, will perform in a concert benefitting Summer & Fall Amphitheatre Programming at Raleigh Little Theatre. For more than 40 years, Bloomsbury has performed its eclectic blend of acoustic music at clubs and picnics, as well as for business conventions, numerous charitable fundraisers, political events and sheer fun. With tight vocal blends and a constant swapping of instruments, Bloomsbury stays true to the folk songs of the 1960s on which they were founded. Over the years, they have expanded their set list to include a broad range of popular songs, gospel and bluegrass standards, and old time fiddle tunes.

There will be a light hors d’oeuvre reception before the show beginning at 7:00PM.
