Experience a guided culinary journey of sight and taste that spans all 5 downtown districts to sample a cross-section of some of Raleigh’s unique local restaurant venues, blended together with some forgotten historical tidbits that leaves you full of new insights on the downtown culinary landscape. On the tour, we’ll be walking and using the R-Line circulator as we make our way through each district. It’s fun, informative and delicious.

We’ll be stopping numerous times for sample tastings and inside stories from 6 local establishments*. For example,

• An Asian restaurant that takes you to the next level of culinary creativity, or
• Raleigh’s “go to” restaurant with a Southern flare,
• A gastro-pub that redefines upscale,
• A Greek transplant from North Raleigh, and many more…

Raleigh Food Tour Information

When: Saturdays- 2:00 pm (arrive 5-10 min. before- don’t be late the tour won’t wait)

Who:  Able-bodied adults, no more than 10

How Much:  $ 45 per person (+$.99 svc chg), includes all tastings

Weather:  Tours operate rain or shine. Tours are rescheduled if there is a cancellation due to severe weather.

Where to meet: Meet in the lobby of Raleigh Marriott City Center, 5-10 min. before at 500 Fayetteville St., Raleigh.  You can valet park for free at the front entrance of the Marriott if you choose.
