Event Guidelines

This event is sponsored by the City of Raleigh, ProShred Security, Metech Recycling and is hosted by Oak Park Shopping Center.

• For residents and small businesses only

Shred & Recycle It!

• Limit of three (3) boxes of documents per person
• Remove paper clips
• No file folders with metal hangers
• Paper Only – no trash mixed with paper
• No CDs, DVDs, VHS, diskettes, cassettes or other media
• Documents must be removed from binders, binders not accepted

Electronics Recycling

• TV, computers and all other items with a cord accepted
• CDs, DVDs, VHS, diskettes, cassettes ARE acceptable
• NO white goods accepted (refrigerators, stoves, washers/dryers)
• Secure (OFFSITE) data destruction
• 95% of all materials will be fully recycled for re-manufacture
• NO materials dumped in landfills or other countries

Alkaline Battery Recycling

• BOTH end of EACH battery must be TAPED
• Batteries without taped ends will NOT be accepted
