Exhibit Opening: North Carolina and the Civil War

The North Carolina Museum of History will open the exhibit, “North Carolina and the Civil War: The Breaking Storm, 1861-1862” on May 20th.

This exhibit portrays the events that led up to the outbreak of the Civil War and the early battles. This exhibit will be the first in a three-part series on the Civil War.
