Federation Feeds: A Fun Foodraiser for JFS

FEEDING THE MIND, BODY & THE SOUL…

FEDERATION FEEDS pays tribute to the culinary excellence of local restaurants within our community, while raising significant awareness to the mission of Raleigh-Cary Jewish Family Services. During this special evening, restaurants present their signature dishes for the tasting while guests enjoy interactive activities, silent auction, cash bar, and music.

In 2018, The Jewish Federation of Raleigh-Cary and Jewish Family Services:

Provided over 3,300 nutritious meals for children, families, and older adults living with food insecurities

Provided $26,624 in emergency financial aid for rent, utilities, food, gas, Hurricane Florence Disaster Relief, and Holocaust-survivor assistance.

JFS gave over 1,400 rides through the JFSGO transportation program that improved the health and wellness of our Jewish seniors.

JFS Social workers serviced 274 clients with 1335 contacts/sessions.
