NABBA Showcase

In preparation for their upcoming appearance at the NABBA (North American Brass Band Association) Championships, the Triangle Youth Brass Bands present “NABBA Showcase,” on Sunday, March 17, 2019 in Meymandi Concert Hall.  Artistic Director for the Youth Band program, Jesse Rackley, directs the Triangle Youth J. Perry Watson Brass Band.  The Triangle Youth Brass Band is under the direction of Matt Edwards, and the Triangle Youth Academy Brass Band is directed by Robin Gorham. All three of these groups are headed to Fort Wayne, Indiana, in early April, to compete at the NABBA Championships, where they have experienced great success in prior years. They have been working intently to prepare these competition selections, and it should be most inspiring to see their hard work come to fruition.
