What? Plant the Pavement 2014
When? May 2-4, 2014
Where? Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and Longview School. Raleigh, NC.
In late 2011, Inter-Faith Food Shuttle and Longview School in Raleigh partnered to become the newest Regional Outreach Training Center (ROTC) for Growing Power, an internationally recognized urban agriculture organization started by MacArthur Genius Award winner Will Allen.
In 2012, we held the first ever Plant the Pavement! urban agriculture workshop series, a collaborative effort to bring Growing Power’s innovative model of food production and community empowerment to North Carolina.
This year we are excited to announce the second Plant the Pavement! urban agriculture workshop series. Will Allen and other Growing Power trainers will again be traveling to Raleigh, where they will partner with educators at Inter-Faith Food Shuttle to provide a unique training opportunity that is not to be missed!
