Pretty In Pink Foundation’s mission is to provide financial assistance to uninsured and underinsured breast cancer patients with quality, life-saving medical treatment regardless of their ability to pay. We make this happen with financial commitments through sponsorships, fundraising, donations and pledge drives that support our Champions locally and throughout North Carolina.
Carolina Canines for Service – www.caninesforservice.org
Provides people experiencing mobility limitations with quality trained service dogs. This program serves individuals from Virginia to Florida and east of the Mississippi River. Training takes up to three years and each dog is raised and trained in a loving home.
Timing
The RunRaleigh 8K will use the Precision Race Jaguar timing system. The Precision Race Jaguar timing system utilizes disposal RFID timing chips. No other timing system device may be worn. You must wear your assigned race number during the race to receive your finish time and for visual personal ID while on the course. All participants will receive their gun time and chip time for the race they complete. For more information about Precision Race, see www.precisionrace.com
Volunteers
If you wish to volunteer, please contact Paula O’Neal at runraleighraces@aol.com. Volunteers will be assisting at the start/finish area, water stations, and as course monitors.
Rules and Regulations
We do not allow dogs in either race. We also do not allow inline skates, skateboards, roller skates or any mode of transportation other than running or walking.
If the race should be cancelled, delayed or postponed for conditions beyond the control of the Race Director (i.e., weather, National/State/Local emergencies), there are no refunds. Packet pick up will still be made available at Capital Run/Walk.
