Solar Thermal Installation Course, June 13-16, 2011

The City of Raleigh Green Building Training Series is offering a class in solar thermal installation Monday, June 13 through Thursday, June 16.

The Solar Thermal course curriculum is based on the North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners solar thermal installer job task analysis. The course is accredited by the Interstate Renewable Energy Council. The solar thermal course will provide hands-on training exercises and labs. Students of this course will gain a complete understanding of site evaluation tools, necessary measurements and calculations, and the specific system components essential to complete a fully functioning solar heating and cooling system installation.

To be eligible for the program, the participant must provide proof that he or she works, lives or does business within the City of Raleigh. There is a $25.00 refundable seat reservation fee for the course. The $25.00 will be returned upon completion of the course.
