On Wednesday, Sept. 17, Capital Area Transit (CAT) is hosting a “Stuff the Bus” event from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
Area residents are asked to bring three or more canned food items to the bus parked on Cameron Street in Cameron Village. Donations also will be collected in front of the Harris Teeter and Chick-fil-A in Cameron Village. Donations will be delivered to the Food Bank of Eastern and Central North Carolina.
Those who donate three or more canned food items will receive a coupon for a Chick-fil-A Original Chicken Sandwich. Coupons are valid from 11:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. on Sept. 17 at the Chick-fil-A in Cameron Village only. One coupon per person.
Take a CAT bus to donate your canned food items to the “Stuff the Bus” event. CAT Route 12 and Route 16 service Cameron Village. Visit www.raleighnc.gov/transit and scroll to Plan Your Trip to create a trip itinerary.
