The North Carolina Museum of History invites children ages 3 – 5 to come and play with homemade toys from the past. Children will also be able to make their own toys to take home. This program will be held on May 3rd and 10th from 10 –10:45am. To register, call 919-807-7992.
The 1st Persian Festival in North Carolina - a celebration of Persian culture and cuisine sponsored by the Iranian Culture Society of NC features Persian dances, music, art, crafts and food. Admission is $3; children 6 and under admitted free. www.ncpersianfestival.org
Trolley tours leave from Mordecai Historic Park every Saturday, from March through December at 11 am, 12 pm, 1 pm and 2 pm. Tickets are $10 for adults, $4 for child ages 7-17, and free for children 6 and under. The trolley can also be rented for special events and private tours. Event website: raleighnc.gov/mordecai
