The City of Raleigh is adding to the list of materials that it collects, including phone books, colored paper, spiral (coffee) cans and #1-5 and #7 plastic containers. The change comes as the City Council approved a three year contract extension with Sonoco Recycling which increases the rate the City receives for recyclables and increases the items to be recycled.
