    Loved the veggies, and my son loved the chicken biscuit & mac & cheese.

    The restaurant is too loud!

    I love love love love Poole’s Diner. Seriously my favorite restaurant in Raleigh so I had pretty high expectations for a place that only features fried chicken! I ordered chicken and waffles but it only comes with dark meat. Luckily the dark meat was moist, but I really wanted the option of white meat. Also, There was no syrup! Just a little, and when I mean little, I mean LITTLE amount of honey. The pimento mac n cheese was very disappointing, BUT we also had the baked beans, the greens, and potato salad which were all fantastic.
